The Mirror Hair and Make-Up Studio began in the summer of 1985 committed to meeting all the future challenges. Encouraged by our loyal clients, we extended our services to include photo shoots, television production, and music videos. We spent several years traveling with our clients to the Country Music Awards, the Grammy’s, and the Academy Awards achieving numerous awards. The Mirror gained national notoriety in featured articles appearing in the Ladies Home Journal, Elle, Allure, and People. Whether on the road or in the studio, we are most proud of our commitment and dedication to our clients and staff. Over the past 18 years, we have developed long-lasting friendships; friends we consider our very own warm and unique family. The foundation of our family begins with the owners, Maria Medina and Maria Smoot (stylist), a mother and daughter team. Stylist Loren Turner and salon coordinator, Yolly Lowe have been with us since the very beginning. Realizing the importance of professional skin care needs, we opened our new day spa. Our own staff licensed medical aesthetician, Angela Vance has 13 years experience helping others look their best, by taking care of their skin. She creates the best combination of product and treatment applications to achieve and maintain your optimum skin health. The Mirror has partnered with Dr. John Moore and his amazing staff from Cool Springs Plastic Surgery to provide you with the most advanced procedures available today that restore youth, while preserving the beauty and functional health of your skin.
